Utilizing foam and the skills of carving for the first time, I came up with the idea to create a foam animal that resembled a teddy bear plush. I reflected back to my cat puzzle project that was created before this, and wanted to continue with the theme of creating something dreamy, cute, yet welcoming. I wanted to introduce the idea of crafting a “plush-like” animal toy that could be left on the nightstand as one grows out of liking stuffed animals.
