This project brings together skills from both Creative Technologies 360 and Product Design 1 to develop a food based app called Butta. I used app building fundamental, considering user flow, brand language, learned in Creative Technologies, while combining them with real-world application of user research and persona development from Product Design 1. The goal was to explore how design decisions rooted in user needs could translate into functional digital interactions.
I created detailed user personas based on demographic, behavioral, and emotional insights to drive the tone and structure of the app. Their lifestyle habits directly informed design choices, such as the quick-scan grocery feature and algorithmic food recommendations. Through iterative ideation, I tested and refined the app’s features, interface, and color palette to match the brand’s approachable, flavorful tone.
